Looking for a last minute fun addition to a 4th of July party?  I saw this awesome patriotic lantern idea here and had to try it.  This is a super easy and super quick craft that adds that perfect touch to this festive day.  I can’t wait to see them lit up tonight (I’ll get more pictures then, too!)  The original idea calls for using contact paper to get the stars.  Since I didn’t have any on hand, I just drew the stars on with a Sharpie and painted around them.  Just a little bit of acrylic paint, some glitter paint, and a twine bow, and these mason jars become cute pieces of Americana!
